I recently stayed for one night with my family in a Classic Double Room. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the start. Our family room was spacious and had all the essentials we needed, though it could use some modern updates in the furnishings and bathroom. We had to turn on an extra radiator to warm the room up, which was a bit inconvenient. Breakfast was a standout for us, with an excellent selection that was both tasty and fulfilling. Crystal-clean surroundings made dining enjoyable. A significant downside was that the hotel restaurant was fully booked due to Christmas parties, which we weren't informed of in advance. Our plans for dinner fell apart because of this. we ended up hunting for somewhere to eat in the area. The staff were apologetic and provided a list of nearby pubs, but none were available to accommodate us. That left us feeling quite disappointed after a long day of traveling.

A Cozy Escape with Room for Improvement
Our stay was enjoyable, thanks to the welcoming staff and the hearty breakfast options. The Classic Double Room had its charm, but the mattress could use an upgrade. Try the local dishes at their restaurant for a true taste of the area. A little late-night noise. pack earplugs.
